On Sunday evening, RSCA traveled to Sporting Charleroi for matchday 26 of the Jupiler Pro League. For this away game, coach David Hubert had to do without the injured Yari Verschaeren, Mario Stroeykens, and Elyess Dao. Killian Sardella was also absent due to suspension. During the warm-up, Samuel Edozie had to withdraw as well, leading to Tristan Degreef taking his place. After the 0-0 draw in the first leg, the Mauves secured all three points against the Carolos this time, though it was no easy task.

Adem Zorgane was the first to test the goalkeeper, but his shot posed no threat to Colin Coosemans. RSCA then tried to put pressure on the opposition, but without creating any real danger. After fifteen minutes, our goalkeeper once again easily stopped a long-range effort from the same Adem Zorgane. Around the half-hour mark, Colin Coosemans had to work harder to keep out a low, driven shot from Žan Rogelj. Shortly after, a strike from Nikola Štulić went just wide of the post. Before halftime, Kasper Dolberg unfortunately had to leave the pitch due to injury, with Luis Vazquez coming on as his replacement. Just before the break, an attacking move involving Tristan Degreef and Leander Dendoncker nearly set up the substitute Vazquez for the opening goal, but he was unable to convert.

At the start of the second half, play moved back and forth, but most of the action took place in midfield. This resulted in few chances for either side in the first fifteen minutes after the break. Around the hour mark, Thorgan Hazard was replaced by Nilson Angulo. The Ecuadorian winger immediately made an impact with a brilliant individual move, setting up Luis Vazquez for an easy finish: 0-1 for Sporting. Nilson Angulo continued to be a threat on two more occasions, but without finding the net. Ten minutes before full-time, RSCA came close to doubling their lead from a chaotic set-piece situation. After a lackluster first half, the Mauves delivered a stronger second-half performance, securing the three points and bringing them back to the capital.
