Suus Verdaasdonk (20) strengthens RSCA Women. The midfielder was born on March 15, 2006, in the eastern Netherlands and joined FC Twente’s youth academy at a young age. Last season, she played in midfield for FC Twente in the Dutch Eredivisie. She has now signed a contract with the Mauves until 2028.
Suus started playing football at a young age in her hometown of Eibergen. She soon moved to FC Twente’s youth academy, a club competing at the highest level of women’s football in the Netherlands. In April 2023, she signed her first professional contract there.
In September 2023, she made her debut for FC Twente, helping the team win the Dutch Super Cup with a 5-2 victory over Ajax. Two weeks later, Suus also made her league debut against Telstar and immediately scored her first goal.
Suus has been called up to several Dutch national youth teams. She has represented the Netherlands at both U17 and U19 level. With a goal against Finland, she helped secure the Netherlands’ qualification for the 2024 UEFA Women’s Under-19 Championship in Lithuania.
