Noah Kalonji (17 years old - 22/04/2009) has extended his contract with the Mauves until 2028. Having joined Sporting in 2021, the young midfielder has demonstrated over the past five years that he can perform with equal success in both the number 6 and number 8 positions. However, the Belgian U17 international - who contributed to our U17 side’s recent brilliant success at the Future Cup in Amsterdam - has also played as a centre-back.
Displaying an exemplary attitude both on and off the pitch, Noah is the kind of player many clubs are looking for. The right-footed player is able to win his duels thanks to his physical presence (1.85m) and his ability to win the ball back. He directs play well, particularly through his long diagonal passes that catch the opposition off guard. He is a vital link between defence and attack, bringing balance to the team.
