RSC Anderlecht's youth team has a new coach. Karim Mokeddem (52) is taking charge of the Futures. The Frenchman has been active as a coach since 2012.

The 52-year-old Frenchman comes with a lot of experience as a manager at various French clubs. He worked his way up in French football from the amateur circuit to the professional level, with proven results at clubs including Lyon-Duchère and Orléans.

Mokeddem obtained his UEFA Pro Licence in 2019 and is known for his attacking approach as a coach. With a background in youth development, his focus has always been on developing young players and giving them opportunities to gain playing time with the first team.

Sporting Director Antoine Sibierski:

“We were looking for a very specific profile for an U23 coach. With Karim, RSCA Futures brings in a coach with a Pro Licence and experience as head coach of a professional club. His high standards, eye for detail, and professional attitude are key assets for our Futures. His ability to develop young players and give them playing time in professional football was also a decisive factor.”

Welcome to RSC Anderlecht, Karim.
