Lucas Biglia has informed the club of his decision to leave the first-team staff. Lucas, who joined the staff last summer as assistant to Besnik Hasi, is returning to his family in Italy.
Lucas returned to RSC Anderlecht last summer to take his first steps as a coach in a first-team environment. After playing at Anderlecht, Lazio, AC Milan and Başakşehir, he worked as an assistant-coach under head coach Besnik Hasi.
Lucas Biglia: "I am very grateful to RSCA for allowing me to gain this experience at my club. My decision to leave the club now is purely personal and is due to my loyalty to Besnik Hasi. I look back on the past period with great appreciation. Who knows, maybe our paths will cross again in the future. I wish the club, the players, the staff and the supporters only the very best and will continue to follow RSCA closely."
RSC Anderlecht regrets but respects Lucas' decision. The club is extremely grateful to him for his work.
Gracias, Lucas.
