Adjani Mujangi Bia (15) has signed his first professional contract with the Mauves. The defensive midfielder joined Neerpede in 2020 and played with the U16s last season. He is now committed to Sporting until 2028.
Adjani is the son of Geoffrey Mujangi Bia, who spent seven years in the RSCA youth academy and earned two caps for the Red Devils. Purple blood runs in the family, as his younger brother Cameron also plays for the club.
Both on and off the pitch, Adjani is known as an intelligent young man. He is bilingual and follows the club’s school programme in Dutch. As a defensive midfielder, he makes good use of his height and technical ability.
Adjani after signing his first professional contract:
“For me, signing my first professional contract with RSC Anderlecht means a lot. I’ve been here since I was 11 years old, and I consider the club my second home. It makes me really happy to see that the club believes in me, and I’m very glad to be able to continue my development here.”
Adjani recently joined our U15s at the Future Cup in Amsterdam. Now, he’s rewarded for his hard work and performances with his first professional deal.
