RSCA Futsal has signed Diego Brandao Martins, known as Mancuso. Mancuso (36) can be considered one of the best in European futsal. Two years ago he won the Champions League with Palma.

Mancuso was born in Brazil, but also has Portuguese nationality. He has been living in Europe for many years now. He has played for top clubs such as Osasuna, Benfica and Palma. He briefly played in the Chinese league and recently sided with Italian club Genzano.

In addition to winning the Champions League, Mancuso already has won two Italian titles, a title and cup in China and a Portuguese cup and league title.

He has signed a contract that ties him to RSCA Futsal until mid-2026.

Mancuso:

“It may come as a surprise, but I am no stranger to the Alfasun Indoor Arena. We already met in the Main Round of the Champions League in the year that RSCA made it to the Final Four. That was a fun experience. This winter, we renewed our contact. I was playing for the Italian team Genzego, but I was given the opportunity to come to Anderlecht. It is an opportunity that I absolutely wanted to seize. Over the next year and a half, I want to continue to prove myself and win trophies with RSCA Futsal.”

Manager Lieven Baert:

“Diego was an opportunity on the transfer market that we eagerly seized. His experience will be an added value to achieve our goals in the coming months.”
