RSC Anderlecht have added extra pace and attacking depth to their squad. Marten Winkler, the 23-year-old left-footed German winger, joins the club from Hertha BSC and has signed a four-year contract.
Winkler is a fast, dynamic and versatile attacker who primarily operates on the right wing. He came through the youth academy at Hertha BSC before breaking into the club's first team at a young age. Following a successful loan spell at Waldhof Mannheim, he established himself as a regular in the Berlin side's senior squad.
Last season, Winkler was one of Hertha BSC's standout performers. He has also started the new campaign in impressive fashion, recording one goal and two assists in the opening match of the 2. Bundesliga.
