Behind the scenes with Adil & Bilall

RSC Anderlecht and adidas have reunited once again. The new home kits for the 2026/2027 season were unveiled in a film directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, two filmmakers who found their path to Hollywood through Brussels film school. The film tells the story of Rayan, who needs a push to escape the chaos of the capital and let his talent emerge.

For the launch of the adidas x RSC Anderlecht shirt, Adil and Bilall went to the North district, the neighbourhood where Vincent Kompany, among others, grew up. In the shadow of the office towers lies Maximilien Park, an iconic location for street footballers in Brussels.

The Brussels pitches form the backdrop of the short film. A place where raw talent comes together under the watchful eye of the older generation, and where a new generation fights for its place between the lines.

Take a look behind the scenes of the making process:

Adil and Bilall, directors of films such as Black (2015) and Rebel (2022), who spent their student years around the North district, know better than anyone that Brussels is full of talent, but that the chaos of the city can sometimes hold it back.

For the reunion of adidas and RSC Anderlecht, the directors translate the raw beauty of the city into fiction. They tell the story of Rayan, who after a day full of setbacks unexpectedly comes into possession of a sports bag containing a special item - the push he needs to bring his talent to life.
