The Mauves will once again take part in the Premier League International Cup this season. In the tenth edition of the tournament, RSCA will face Crystal Palace, Ipswich Town, Sunderland and Brighton on English soil. These exciting fixtures will be broadcast live on Mauve TV.
The competition for U21 teams has been organised by the Premier League since 2014 and brings together 32 teams from ten European countries. The teams are divided into four groups of eight clubs, each comprising four English teams and four continental sides.
Each continental club faces four English teams. The top two teams in each group advance to the quarter-finals. Last season, Borussia Dortmund defeated Spanish giants Real Madrid in the final. The German side won the tournament for the first time and are the reigning champions.
This season, RSCA have been drawn in Group D and will face Crystal Palace, Ipswich Town, Sunderland and Brighton in this edition. Jong PSV (the Netherlands), PSG (France) and record winners FC Porto (Portugal), who have lifted the trophy twice, are also in the group.
