Silas Adado (15 years old - 16 March 2011) has recently signed his first professional contract with RSC Anderlecht. A versatile forward capable of playing as a left winger, centre-forward or right winger, Silas has a remarkably mature physical profile for his age. Although naturally right-footed, he is equally comfortable using his left foot, allowing him to excel in a wide range of attacking situations.
He possesses outstanding pace for a player of his age and is able to engage defenders before beating them with his speed. He also demonstrates an excellent work ethic in defensive transitions, an increasingly essential quality in the modern game. Silas is a forward who provides depth in attack and is highly efficient in front of goal.
Silas will join the RSCA Futures squad for preparations ahead of the new season, having already trained with the group over the past few months. Given his profile and current level, he could still feature for the U16 and/or U18 teams, but his physical impact and potential make him ready to be tested at a higher level of intensity.
