The RSCA U17s will take part in the Great Wall Cup International Youth Football Invitational Tournament in Beijing from 24 August to 1 September. For the eleventh edition of the tournament, clubs including Real Madrid, PSV and Wolverhampton will travel to China.
For our academy, the Great Wall Cup represents a great international challenge. The young Sportingboys will have the opportunity to face several renowned European academies and experience different styles of play. The tournament brings together youth teams from different countries and football cultures, with the aim of giving young talents international experience and encouraging exchanges between academies.
The Mauves are part of a strong international field of eight U17 teams. Alongside RSCA, Real Madrid (ESP), PSV Eindhoven (NED), FC Augsburg (GER), Austria Wien (AUT), FC Kairat (KAZ), Wolverhampton Wanderers (ENG) and the Beijing U17 selection will take part in the tournament. Our U17 opponents in China will be determined by a draw on the first day of the tournament.
