Fifteen-year-old Daniel Miguel Deldicq has signed his first professional contract with the Mauves. The right-footed midfielder, who can play as both a number 6 and number 8, has been playing for RSCA since 2022. He is now under contract with the club until 2029.
Daniel, the son of a Portuguese mother and Belgian father, was born in Forest on 11 June 2011. The central midfielder has already earned five caps for Portugal U15 and captained Anderlecht’s U16 team last season. He also took part in the MLS Generation Cup in the United States and featured in the KDB Cup.
The right-footed player brings physical presence in midfield duels and is regarded as a natural leader within the squad. His positive aggression, the intensity he brings to his game, and his winning mentality act as a catalyst for his teammates.
In addition, his technical quality and composure make him a stabilising force for the team. Daniel covers a lot of ground, constantly pressures his opponents, and excels in ball recovery.
He is beginning his sixth season at RSCA and is considered a true ket of Neerpede. With this first professional contract, he is rewarded for his dedication over the past years.
