The Stellar program

Stellar

Since 2024, Stellar is a program aiming to develop women’s football in Belgium and identify the talents of tomorrow. It is a collaboration between RSCA Women and its partner clubs across Belgium.

Women’s football is experiencing significant growth in Belgium. The milestone of 50,000 registered female players has recently been surpassed in our country. However, many challenges remain in the professionalization of women’s football.

RSC Anderlecht is committed to playing its part. Together with its partner Telenet, Sporting has been actively supporting the development of women’s football since 2021, notably through the slogan ‘More Girls in Football.’

The RSCA Women are undergoing a comprehensive professionalization process. A larger coaching staff, daytime training sessions, a new framework for the academy, international friendly matches… and now, the Stellar program has been added to this initiative.

The word ‘Stellar’ has two different meanings in English. First, it relates to stars, symbolizing the titles won by the RSCA Women. Second, it describes something outstanding, something that stands out due to its excellence.

With Stellar, the RSCA Women structure is creating a network throughout Belgium to push forward the development of women's football and make the detection of talent easier. A number of concrete activities will be set up with the partner clubs.

  • Stellar Open Trainings: training sessions, open to every girl, on the partner clubs' basecamps in various key regions of Belgium

  • Stellar Clinics: workshops on RSCA Women's framework

  • Stellar Talent Teams: recruitment of the upcoming talents discovered during these training sessions

Stellar will actively participate in the development of women’s football in Belgium and within RSCA. It is a win-win collaboration with our partner clubs. We are looking forward to developing this program and discovering future talents.
