The three stripes are back

adidas X RSCA

Fifty years after the beginning of one of the most iconic partnerships in Belgian football, the three stripes and the three stars are reunited once again. Starting from the 2026/2027 season, adidas will return as the official kit supplier of Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht for a minimum of five seasons.

The Mauves and the German sportswear brand share a rich history. Since the start of their partnership in the 1970s, Anderlecht added a second and third star as well as five European trophies to its honours list. For more than four decades, the purple shirt with the three stripes symbolised everything the club stands for. An iconic combination that dressed multiple generations of talent from the capital.

RSC Anderlecht is delighted to welcome adidas back to the club. The three stripes return from the 2026/2027 season onwards, for at least five seasons. The new home shirt will be unveiled on Thursday, June 4, and will be available immediately in the renovated fan shop at the stadium and via shop.rsca.be.

Kenneth Bornauw, CEO RSC Anderlecht:

"Many generations fell in love with RSC Anderlecht in the shirt with the three stripes. We are delighted to renew the historic bond between two iconic sports brands."

Sam Handy, General Manager adidas Football:

“We are incredibly proud to reunite with Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht, a club with a remarkable heritage and a deep connection to adidas. Together, we’ve shared some of the most iconic moments in Belgian football history, and we’re excited to write the next chapter of that story. Anderlecht stands for excellence, talent development and a strong identity – values that resonate deeply with adidas. We look forward to supporting the club and its fans with innovative products that honour its legacy while inspiring future generations.”
