Joshua Nga Kana (17) has signed a new contract with RSC Anderlecht until 2029. The right-footed attacking midfielder broke through with the RSCA Futures last season before making his first-team debut. His performances have now been rewarded with a new three-year deal at the club.

A native of Brussels, Joshua took his first steps in football at BX Brussels. In 2016, at the age of seven, he joined RSC Anderlecht from the club founded by Vincent Kompany. He progressed through the academy ranks before being promoted to the RSCA Futures squad in the summer of 2025.

The pacey and technically gifted midfielder made his professional debut on 9 August 2025. He came on after the hour mark in the opening fixture of the Challenger Pro League season against KV Kortrijk.

Last season, Joshua featured in 18 league matches for the RSCA Futures, but it was in the Premier League International Cup that he particularly caught the eye. He scored against Sunderland in a 2-2 draw and provided an assist in a convincing 4-1 victory away to Manchester United.

The biggest reward for his impressive performances came on the opening matchday of the Champions’ Play-offs, when he made his first-team debut away to Club Brugge. He went on to earn further minutes against STVV and Union.

From this season onwards, Joshua will be a full member of the first-team squad. He completed the club’s entire pre-season programme with the first team and featured in all of Anderlecht’s pre-season friendlies. By signing this new contract, the Brussels-born midfielder commits his future to the club until 2029.
