De wedstrijd van zaterdag staat in het teken van Tous Mauves, de sociale-impactwerking van paars-wit in samenwerking met Telenet. Meer dan 300 Saturday’s match is dedicated to Tous Mauves, the social-impact initiative of RSCA in collaboration with Telenet. More than 300 young people from the partner organisations of Tous Mauves will be present. Our players will take to the pitch wearing the names of some of these youngsters on their shirts. The match will be preceded by a spoken-word performance by Jazz Brak and Frenetik, Brussels artists with a heart for the capital and its talent.
Talent is universal, equal opportunities are not
RSC Anderlecht is synonymous with - and has a heart for - talent from the capital. An aspirational institution, the biggest club of the country’s most popular sport, with the power to reach countless young people. RSCA wants to translate that status into social impact more than ever before.
Because talent is universal. Equal opportunities are not. And that inequality is particularly present in the capital. In Brussels, 1 in 3 families lives in poverty and 1 in 4 young people under 18 is at risk of social exclusion.
Tous Mauves
To combat that inequality, RSCA launched Tous Mauves with the financial support of partner Telenet. Through Tous Mauves, the club supports the work of 11 partner organisations, each an expert in its field. These organisations work on social inclusion in sports, gender equality, digital inclusion, or professional and educational inclusion.
Each year, Tous Mauves supports 1 000 young people in developing their talents. This year, several workshops have already taken place under the Tous Mauves programme together with the various partner organisations: programming workshops, physiotherapy ateliers, media and press introductions, a charity football tournament, job sessions, and much more.
During RSCA – STVV, everyone is Tous Mauves
The match against STVV on Saturday, 12 December is entirely dedicated to Tous Mauves. All partner organisations, along with more than 300 young people, will be present in the stadium.
Before kick-off, Brussels artists Jazz Brak and Frenetik will deliver a spoken-word piece about Tous Mauves. They met seven young people from the Tous Mauves initiative this week and transformed their impressions into an inspiring text. You can read all about the meeting here.
