The preparations for the 25/26 season will begin soon. After a successful year in which RSCA Futsal won both the national title and the cup, the players have returned from their well-deserved break. The Mauves kick off pre-season under the guidance of their new coach, Alvaro Martinez, and with several new additions to the squad. On August 10, Martinez’s team will play their first friendly match, followed by a tournament in Spain.
Last month, 34-year-old Spaniard Alvaro Martinez was announced as the new head coach. A fresh wind is blowing through RSCA Futsal, also in the squad. The team has already welcomed four new players this summer: Deivao, Rakic, Panés, and Vanderheyden. They will make their debut on August 10 in the Alfasun Indoor Arena, where Sporting will face Blue Magic FC Dublin from Ireland at 1 PM.
A week later, the second friendly match is on the schedule - this time against the current UEFA Futsal Champions League winners. On August 16, the Mauves will play in and against Palma in Spain (8 PM). On August 23 and 24, RSCA will take part in the Mucho Mas Tournament, hosted by Vini Baldi Valdepeñas (Spain), featuring Movistar Inter FS (Spain) and SC Corinthians (Brazil).
RSCA Futsal’s final pre-season match will take place on August 31 at the Alfasun Indoor Arena at 4 PM against Sporting Club de Paris. The first league match is scheduled for September 5, with RSCA starting the season with a derby clash against Sensei Sushi Anderlecht (9:30 PM).
