The paths of RSCA Futsal and coach Luca Cragnaz will part ways after this season. This marks the end of a successful five-year collaboration, during which the coach delivered remarkable results for our club.
Five years ago, Luca Cragnaz took charge of our team, having previously served as a national coach at the RBFA. He began writing a true success story. In his very first season, he immediately won the national championship and the Belgian Cup.
In the summer of 2022, Halle-Gooik merged into RSCA Futsal, and the success story continued. Under Cragnaz, the Mauves claimed the league title three consecutive times. Each time, they also triumphed in the Belgian Cup. In addition to these doubles, the Super Cup was also secured every year.
Throughout these seasons, RSCA Futsal took part in the Champions League. Cragnaz and his team became a regular presence in the Elite Round. On the European stage, the coach reached his absolute peak in 2023, when he brilliantly eliminated Barcelona and led the team to the Champions League Final Four.
The club wishes to thank Luca Cragnaz for the tremendous work he has done over the past years. He will forever have a place in the club’s history. RSCA Futsal wishes him all the best in the future.
