The potential opponents for the Mauves in the second qualifying round of the Europa League have been narrowed down to two clubs. Spartak Trnava or BK Häcken will be the first hurdle on the road to the League Phase. On Thursday, July 24, Sporting will host the winner of the tie at Lotto Park. One week later, on Thursday, July 31, RSCA will travel to Slovakia or Sweden.

Thanks to last season’s fourth-place finish, Sporting enters the UEFA Europa League in the second qualifying round. To reach the group stage, RSCA must get through three rounds.

If Sporting wins two of the three qualifying rounds, they will advance to the group stage of the UEFA Conference League. If they lose twice, the Mauves’ European campaign will come to an end.

Spartak Trnava (SVK) or BK Häcken (SWE) will therefore be the first obstacle for Besnik Hasi’s men on their way to the League Phase of the Europa League. They will play the first qualifying round of the Europa League on July 10 and 17.

The Mauves will host the winner of that tie on July 24 at Lotto Park. On Thursday, July 31, Sporting will visit Spartak Trnava or BK Häcken. The kick-off times for both matches will be announced no later than June 23.
