On Tuesday, June 4, 2025, RSC Anderlecht received the sad news of the passing of Pierre Leroy, at the age of 86. The club extends its heartfelt condolences to Pierre’s family and friends, and wishes them strength in this difficult time.
Pierre served as the delegate of our first team for no less than 24 seasons, overseeing more than 1,200 matches. From 1983 to 2007, he played a key role in many of the club’s successes and was a trusted confidant to many players. After that, Pierre remained active within the club in other roles until his retirement in 2018, at the age of 79.
Thank you for everything, Pierre. Rest in peace. ♔
