This Thursday, 16 January, Sporting will play its first official match of 2026. A crucial encounter right away, with the final ticket for the semi-finals at stake. There is no return leg; if the match ends in a draw, extra time will follow and, if necessary, a penalty shoot-out. Kick-off is at 8:30 PM in an almost sold-out Lotto Park. The match will be broadcast on television exclusively on the pay TV channel DAZN. The winner of the tie will face Antwerp FC in the semi-final.
