The manager began the press conference with some good news. "This week, Nathan De Cat has been training with the team, so he should normally be available for selection on Sunday. The medical and performance staff have worked very well with him, and Nathan has been equally hard-working during his rehabilitation. He is a young player who recovers quickly, but we must be careful not to put too much pressure on him. The ultimate goal is for him to make a full recovery, not to return as quickly as possible. Training sessions are no substitute for matches, but Nathan has played a lot this season. So I don’t think he’ll be lagging behind physically."
Against Club Brugge, Jérémy Taravel does not intend to take into account the rapidly-approaching Belgian Cup final against Union Saint-Gilloise. "This match against Club Brugge remains an important one for us as a club and for our fans. Naturally, all the players want to play in this kind of fixture. It’s true that the cup final is approaching, but the best preparation will be a good performance on Sunday.”
