RSCA wants to strengthen its position as the best youth academy in the country and is investing more than ever in the sports framework at Neerpede. With the end of the current season and the start of the next one in sight, the club offers a glimpse into its renewed sporting structure for the 2025-2026 season.
‘Neerpede is the best destination for talent, on and off the pitch.’ Chief Academy Tim Borguet wants Neerpede to excel in post-formation (U23-U16) and boost the flow of talent qualitatively and quantitatively. ‘With the renewed structure, we are taking a solid step towards an even higher-performing Academy, that is synonymous with an elite sports culture. With specific attention and expertise for the individual (technical, tactical) and holistic (physical, medical, nutritional and cognitive) development of talent.’ The staffing of the sporting department reflects Neerpede's identity: young promising coaches or ex-professionals who meet the high demands of our environment, Brussels natives or former youth players who personify the values of the club.
2 Talent Coordinators will be integrated as an extension of the sports staff, across age categories. Ex-pros Patrick Dimbala (KAA Gent) and Jan Wuytens (KRC Genk, starting date January 2026) will focus on the individual development of talents U23-U16. Marvin Ogunjimi (KV Mechelen) joins us as Detail Coach focusing on the attacking talents U23-U16. Nicaise Kudimbana (Union Saint-Gilloise) strengthens Bram Castro's goalkeeper coaching team. Bram Keppens (RBFA U19) will manage the Video Analysis department.
- The U23 remain under the direction of head coach Jelle Coene, Roy Gerits and reinforce with Naïm Aarab (Union Saint-Gilloise) and Yannick Kindermans.
- The U18 will be led next season by Dylan Malichev (Club Brugge), René Peeters and Maxim Dierickx (Club Brugge).
- The U16 will be led by Simon Hanssens and Arnaud Djoum (Union Saint-Gilloise).
- The U15 remain led by Stéphane Stassin and Roma Cunillera.
- In the U14, Jassem Ben R'Haiem (Beerschot) and Robbe Witpas (OH Leuven) take over from Benoit Haegeman and Sérgio Figueira.
- The U13 will continue to be led by Loick Fogel and Bernd Van Den Borre.
