Mohamed Abdellaoui (17) has signed his first professional contract. The midfielder arrived at Neerpede back in 2014 and became a key figure for the U18s last season. Mohamed is now under contract with the Mauves until 2027, with an option for an additional year.
A true son of Brussels, Mohamed Abdellaoui was born on May 17, 2008 in Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, Belgium’s smallest and most densely populated municipality. Purple blood runs through Mohamed’s veins - he officially joined the club in 2014.
At Neerpede, Mohamed is known as a curious and respectful young man who contributes positively to the group dynamic. Off the pitch, he is playful and cheerful; on the pitch, the attacking midfielder never shies away from hard work.
After 11 years in the academy of the Mauves, he has now been rewarded for his dedication with his first professional contract.
