On Saturday evening, the Mauves travelled to Achter de Kazerne. After the home win against KAA Gent on matchday 2 of the Champions' Play-offs, Jérémy Taravel’s men were aiming for an important six out of six. Despite RSCA falling behind in first-half stoppage time, they still managed to take all three points against KV Mechelen. Goals from substitute strikers Mihajlo Cvetković and Adriano Bertaccini in the second half completely turned the game around.
