Jonas Geleyn will join RSC Anderlecht on 1 September as Chief Commercial Officer. With his appointment, the club's executive leadership team is now complete, following the recent arrivals of Antoine Sibierski as Chief Sports Officer and Jean Kindermans as Chief Academy Officer, alongside Tim Vanheuverzwijn as Chief Financial Officer.
Jonas brings more than twenty years of commercial leadership experience, spanning both multinational organisations and entrepreneurial ventures. He began his career at Unilever, where he spent seventeen years in a variety of senior leadership roles. During that time, he developed extensive expertise in shaping commercial strategies, driving sustainable growth, and building and leading high-performing commercial teams within an international FMCG environment.
Following his time at Unilever, Jonas deliberately chose the entrepreneurial path, co-founding several high-growth businesses. Through these ventures, he further specialised in strengthening employee engagement and motivation while helping organisations improve their commercial performance. He led go-to-market strategies, business development initiatives and the creation of strategic partnerships. Thanks to his experience in both international corporate environments and entrepreneurship, Jonas combines strategic vision with a hands-on mindset and a strong focus on execution.
As Chief Commercial Officer, Jonas will oversee RSC Anderlecht's commercial activities, with responsibility for Marketing, Sales & Partnerships, Ticketing & Match Operations, and Technology & IT. In this role, he will drive the club's continued commercial development and contribute to delivering its long-term strategic ambitions.
Kenneth Bornauw, CEO:
"With a simplified organisational structure and clearly defined responsibilities, we now have an executive leadership team that combines expertise, shared values and ambition. This creates the right conditions for sustainable governance and continued growth. Now is the time for all of us to shape the club's future together with confidence."
