Joël Putu Matadi (18) is a Mauve. The young right-back makes the move from Sporting Charleroi to the capital and has signed a contract until 2028.
Joël was born on January 17, 2007. The Belgian with Congolese roots spent most of his football development at KRC Genk, where he played from the U13s to the U18s. Last summer, he made the switch to Sporting Charleroi.
This season, he featured for both the U18 and U23 teams. The right-back is mainly known for his physical qualities. Joël combines strength and explosiveness with excellent endurance.
