Jean Cieslinski (15 and a half years old, born on 5 June 2010) has signed a contract with the Mauves until 2028. The tall (1.85 m) right-sided central defender is a calm and composed player who is solid in build-up play. With an offensive mindset, Jean is capable of breaking the opposition’s lines when playing out from the back.
Already very mature, Jean Cieslinski arrives from Oud-Heverlee Leuven (after a development path in which he was consistently playing above his age group, including spells at Mouscron, Ostend and Kortrijk), a club where he has already played at U18 and U23 level. At Neerpede, however, he will join the U16 squad. This is also the age category in which he represents Belgium at international level. Born to a Belgian mother and a French father, Jean was educated in Dutch in Leuven, but he will now join one of our French-speaking partner schools.
