Lucas Biglia (39) started his first day today as assistant coach in the technical staff. “El Principito” returns to the club 12 years after his departure, where he won four league titles as a player.
The Argentinian played 221 official matches for the Mauves. The stylish midfielder continued his career after his time at RSC Anderlecht with Italian top clubs Lazio Roma and AC Milan. He ended his playing career in Turkey, where he played for Fatih Karagümrük and İstanbul Başakşehir.
Lucas took his first steps as a coach in the AC Milan academy and began working on his UEFA A coaching license in Italy. He will continue that training in Belgium. Biglia is now writing a new chapter in his Anderlecht story—this time as assistant coach on Besnik Hasi’s staff.
