RSC Anderlecht has decided to part ways with David Hubert as head coach. He will be replaced by Besnik Hasi, who takes over as T1 until the end of the season.

After a short interim period, David Hubert was officially appointed head coach in October this season. He led the team for 38 matches. Now, on the eve of the playoffs and the cup final, the collaboration comes to an end. RSCA sincerely thanks David for his dedication.

Besnik Hasi (53) takes over as T1 of RSCA. He signs a contract until the end of the season, with an option for an indefinite extension. Hasi is no stranger to Sporting. After a successful playing career, he served as assistant coach for four seasons, followed by three seasons as head coach. During that time, he won the league title in 2014 and lifted the Supercup.

Sporting Director Olivier Renard:
“We are grateful to David for his work over the past months. We have now chosen to enter the decisive phase of the season with a new head coach and renewed energy. Besnik Hasi knows the ins and outs of Belgian football and has experience with the demanding environment of RSCA. We are pleased that he is willing to bring that experience back to the club.”

Head Coach Besnik Hasi:
“I know this club and the expectations that come with it. It is a pleasure to once again lead the first team of Sporting.”
