RSCA Women strengthen their squad with the signing of Alyssa Van De Poel. The 15-year-old goalkeeper joins from KVC Westerlo Ladies, where she became the youngest player to feature at the highest level this season. Alyssa signs a contract with the Mauves until 2028.
Alyssa progressed through the elite youth ranks at Westerlo, playing in the boys’ teams, before becoming the first-choice keeper for KVC Westerlo Ladies this season. In August, she made her debut against RSCA Women. At just 15 years and 76 days old, she became the youngest player ever to start a match in the Super League.
Dave Mattheus, Director RSCA Women:
“Alyssa is a top talent in Belgian women’s football. She’s athletic, a strong shot-stopper, and has an outstanding work ethic. We’re very happy to have her join our pool of goalkeeping talents, alongside Aude Waldbillig, Marie Pues, and Louise Vervoort.”
