RSCA Futsal has once again received major international recognition. UEFA has awarded the hosting rights for the 2026/27 UEFA Futsal Champions League Main Round to the P&V Bonnet Arena. From 26 October to 1 November 2026, the Belgian record champions will welcome Europe’s elite for one of the season’s key qualifying tournaments.
The appointment is a great honour for both RSCA Futsal and the P&V Bonnet Arena, underlining UEFA’s confidence in the club’s professional organisation, state-of-the-art facilities and ambition to further establish futsal at the highest European level.
RSCA Futsal currently sits seventh in the UEFA club rankings, once again confirming its place among Europe’s elite.
The official draw will take place on 8 July at UEFA headquarters in Nyon. One thing is already certain: one of Europe’s futsal giants - SL Benfica, FC Barcelona, Sporting CP or Kairat Almaty - will travel to Roosdaal to compete in the Main Round.
Martin Baert, President of RSCA Futsal, said: “We are extremely proud that UEFA has once again chosen our club and our venue. This appointment is recognition of the hard work of our staff, volunteers, partners and supporters. We want this Champions League week to showcase Belgian futsal at its very best. The fact that one of Europe’s biggest clubs will be playing at the P&V Bonnet Arena is fantastic news for our supporters and for the entire Belgian futsal community.”
In addition to the sporting challenge for RSCA Futsal, hosting the Main Round will also provide a significant economic and promotional boost for the region. Throughout the tournament week, the P&V Bonnet Arena will welcome clubs, officials, supporters and media representatives from across Europe.
Following the official draw on 8 July, RSCA Futsal will announce further details regarding the match schedule, participating clubs, ticket sales and the practical organisation of the event.
Together, we look forward to another unforgettable week of top-level European futsal at the P&V Bonnet Arena.
