Luna Vanzeir leaves RSC Anderlecht

Luna Vanzeir

RSCA Women will no longer be able to count on Luna Vanzeir next season. The Belgian forward leaves the club upon the expiry of her contract, bringing her two-year spell in purple and white to an end. At the age of 23, the Red Flame has opted for a new challenge in the Bundesliga, joining Werder Bremen.

Vanzeir joined RSC Anderlecht from KRC Genk in the summer of 2024 and quickly established herself as a key player for RSCA Women. Thanks to her technical ability and her goalscoring instinct, she scored 13 goals last season, including the decisive strike in the Belgian Cup final. Over two seasons with Sporting, Luna found the net 28 times.

RSCA would like to thank Luna for her commitment, and wishes her every success in the next chapter of her career.
