RSC Anderlecht bids farewell to Keisuke Goto. The 21-year-old Japanese striker has completed a permanent transfer to SC Freiburg.

Keisuke joined RSC Anderlecht on loan from Júbilo Iwata, the club where he came through the academy, in January 2024 for an initial one-year spell. During the second half of the 2023-2024 season, he enjoyed plenty of playing time with the RSCA Futures in the Challenger Pro League. The Japanese forward finished the campaign as top scorer of the Futures, recording 6 goals and 1 assist in 14 appearances.

After establishing himself as a key player for the RSCA Futures during the 2024-2025 season, Goto earned a permanent place in the first team in December 2024. He signed a contract until 2028. Last season, the Japanese youth international was loaned to STVV, where he continued his development. He scored 13 goals and provided 8 assists.

Keisuke has now opted for a new challenge in the Bundesliga with SC Freiburg, who reached the Europa League final last season.

RSC Anderlecht wishes Keisuke every success in the next chapter of his career.
