Jan-Carlo Simić (20) is leaving RSCA. The Serbian central defender has signed with top Saudi club Al-Ittihad. Jan-Carlo has been with the Mauves since July 2024.

Formed in Germany at Stuttgart, Jan-Carlo moved to AC Milan in 2022 at the age of 17. At the Rossoneri, he was named the best defender in the Primavera League, where he captained the U19s. The young defender also played 6 matches for AC Milan’s first team, scoring on his debut at San Siro.

Sporting signed the Serbian last summer from the Italian club. At the Mauves, Jan-Carlo became a key figure in the heart of the defense and a fan favorite at the Park. Last season, Simić played 49 games for RSCA, scoring 4 goals.

After a season in which he took his first steps in European professional football, Jan-Carlo now embarks on a new adventure in Saudi Arabia. At Al-Ittihad, he will share the dressing room with Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kanté.
