Last Saturday, RSCA Women made it 12 points from 12 after a 2-0 victory over Les Louvièroises. Unfortunately, the game ended on a sour note for Fran Meersman. The 23-year-old defender was forced to leave the pitch early through injury.

Examinations on Monday confirmed that Fran tore her cruciate ligament against RAAL. She will undergo surgery before beginning a lengthy rehabilitation process.

RSC Anderlecht wishes Fran plenty of strength and will support the defender as much as possible on her road to a comeback.
