Hannah Van Goethem (16) has signed a contract with RSCA Women until 2029. The modern centre-back joins from SK Beveren, where she spent ten years playing at elite level in boys’ teams. Hannah will immediately be integrated into the first team of the Mauves.
A Belgium U16 international with the Red Flames, Hannah is a right-footed defender. Her background in boys’ football has shaped her into a modern centre-back. She is quick and strong, combining her physical attributes with solid technical ability.
Dave Mattheus, Director of RSCA Women, is pleased with her arrival: “Hannah is a signing made with the future of RSCA in mind. She will immediately join the first team, where we will assess the level she can reach in her first season in professional women’s football. Any experience she gains this season will be a valuable asset.”
