The preparations of the Mauves are drawing to a close. Last Wednesday, RSCA played its final pre-season friendly against AZ, securing a 0-1 victory.The first official fixture of the season is scheduled for Thursday, July 23. Sporting will travel to Sweden to face Hammarby IF in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League. Both legs of the European qualifier will be broadcast live on Mauve TV.
The road to the UEFA Europa League League Phase is a long one. The Mauves must overcome three qualifying rounds, starting with Swedish side Hammarby IF, currently second in the Allsvenskan after 12 matches. The first leg will be played in Stockholm on Thursday 23 July, with the return leg taking place a week later at the Lotto Park on Thursday 30 July.
