Alexander De Ridder has signed a new contract with the Mauves. The 17-year-old midfielder, who has Ukrainian roots, joined the club in 2018. This season, he officially became part of the RSCA Futures squad, featuring in almost every match. Alexander is now rewarded with a contract extension until 2028.

Born on 5 June 2008 in Kyiv to a Belgian father and a Ukrainian mother, Alexander joined the Anderlecht youth academy at the age of nine. He quickly impressed with his technical ability and explosiveness. Off the pitch, he is known for his composure and strong desire to keep improving.

At the end of last season, De Ridder made his professional debut for the Mauves. Coach Jelle Coen rewarded his hard work by giving him his first minutes on the final matchday against SK Beveren. This season, Alexander has already appeared in seven of the eight league games for the RSCA Futures.
