Coach Brian Riemer has officially appointed Jan Vertonghen as captain of the first team of Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht for the 2023-2024 season. The Red Devils’ most capped player has proudly accepted the captain's armband.
Coach Brian Riemer:
“Giving the captain’s armband to Jan was a no-brainer. With his experience and natural leadership, Jan has a crucial impact on and off the pitch. He’s an example for all of our young players and a player worthy of wearing the captain’s armband at a club like Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht.”
