After the draw in Sweden, the mission was clear for Sporting: beat Hammarby at the Lotto Park. However, the first home game of the season got off to the worst possible start, with RSCA falling behind early on. The Mauves responded brilliantly, though, as goals from Danylo Sikan, Mihajlo Cvetković and Tristan Degreef secured a place in the next qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League, where RSCA will face Greek side PAOK. Mauve+ members can already secure their seats for this European clash.
Both legs against Hammarby IF were streamed live on Mauve TV. The goals are already available to watch, while the highlights and the full match replay will be available from Friday.
First leg in Greece
Once again, Sporting will play the first leg away from home. Anderlecht travel to Greece on Thursday 6 August, before hosting the return leg at the Lotto Park on Thursday 13 August. The remaining tickets for the home opener against RAAL La Louvière are now on open sale.
Please note: For security reasons, tickets for this European match can only be purchased by supporters who have previously bought a ticket for an RSC Anderlecht match. Sections W11, W12 and S13 must remain closed by order of the police. The resale or transfer of tickets to other supporters or third parties through unofficial channels is strictly prohibited. Anyone who violates these rules risks legal sanctions and a stadium ban imposed by the club.
