On Monday, Anderlecht hosted a friendly game at Neerpede for players who did not make enough minutes in the games of the first team (a convincing 0-3 win in Cercle Bruges) or the RSCA Futures (1-1 against Lommel). The opponent was Fortuna Sittard, occuping 14th position in the Dutch Eredivisie and having lost 2-0 against Zwolle this weekend. The game was broadcast live on Mauve TV.
Benito Raman managed to open the score after 15 minutes of play, intercepting a poor pass back to the keeper and with a smooth finish. Kristian Arnstad sought the second goal with a good free kick, but like Luis Vázquez in the second half, saw the keeper saving it. It was Alexis Flips who made it 2-0 after his deflected cross found the back of the net.
