RSC Anderlecht and midfielder Majeed Ashimeru (28) have reached an agreement to terminate the player’s contract by mutual consent. His contract was due to run until the end of this season. 

Majeed Ashimeru joined RSC Anderlecht from RB Salzburg in the summer of 2021. The Ghanaian midfielder went on to make a total of 129 appearances for the Mauves. Last season, he also spent time on loan at La Louvière. 

Ashimeru had not featured for RSC Anderlecht for some time. The club and the player have therefore mutually agreed to part ways, allowing Majeed to take the next step in his career.
