At the end of 2019, Zeno Debast signed his first professional contract with RSC Anderlecht at the age of sixteen, for a period of three years. The young central defender, who turns 18 in October, now extends his contract with RSC Anderlecht until 2023. Zeno is a youth product of the RSCA Belfius Academy. He recently started training with the first team.
Peter Verbeke, Sports Director at RSC Anderlecht, explains why the club is keeping Zeno longer: “Zeno is a modern central defender. He reads the game well, has a fast handling speed and can play under pressure. He still has to become stronger in the defensive game and that is why it is good that he is now fully training with our first team.”
Good luck, Zeno!
