The Belgian striker commits to the Mauves until 2028

Terry Chinecherem (17) will continue his journey with the Mauves. The young forward has been rewarded for his strong performances with the U18s by signing a contract extension until 2028.

The Belgian with Nigerian roots joined Neerpede in 2019. In September 2023, at just 15 years old, he signed his first professional contract with the Mauves after impressive performances in our youth teams. As a youth international, he also scored twice for Belgium’s U15s.

“The biggest difference between playing with the Futures and with the youth teams is that the game is much more physical and faster. This gives me the chance to become a better player and take the next steps.”

Terry stood out in the academy mainly thanks to his technical ability and height - notably at the U16 Montaigu tournament, where his goal in the final secured victory for the Mauves.

Last season, Terry made his professional debut with the RSCA Futures. Coach Jelle Coen rewarded his U18 performances by giving him minutes against Francs Borains.

Now, the 17-year-old striker has extended his contract with RSCA until 2028.
