RSCA Futsal is delighted to welcome Lucas Brito de Paula (30), nicknamed “Pedala”, to the club. The Brazilian winger is renowned for his scoring ability and hopes to showcase it in purple and white over the next two seasons.
At his previous club, Russia’s Ukhta, Pedala wrote himself into the history books. He made his debut for the team on 10 November 2020 in the Russian Cup against Torpedo and went on to make 262 appearances for Ukhta. In nearly six years, he became the club’s all-time top scorer. Pedala found the net 142 times. In the 2024/25 season alone, Pedala scored an impressive 40 goals, guiding his club to the title.
Off the pitch, the ever-cheerful Pedala was just as popular at his Russian club. He won his way into the hearts of the fans by taking part in all kinds of activities away from the court. RSCA Futsal has no doubt Pedala will quickly find his way into the hearts of our purple-and-white supporters.
During his successful period in Russia, the 30-year-old also built up an impressive trophy cabinet: two-time Russian champion (2024/25 & 2025/26), Russian Cup winner (2024) and Russian Super Cup winner (2025). Back home in Brazil, the winger had already picked up several honours: 3x State Champion, the prestigious Taça Brasil de Futsal (Brazilian Cup) and the Liga Sudamericana de Futsal (continental tournament) with Brazil’s Under-20 national team.
In 2021/22, he was individually named Player of the Season at Ukhta. In 2016, the Brazilian was named Player of the State with the Under-20 national team.
Born in São Paulo, Pedala played for several clubs in his home country before making the move to the international stage. He signed his first contract with ADS Sananduva and continued his career in the Liga Nacional de Futsal with Corinthians, Elite Itaquerense, Juventus, Círculo Militar de São Paulo, ADS Sananduva, Copagril, Uruguaianense and Cascavel.
Bem-vindo ao RSCA Futsal, Pedala!
