Jorijn Covent strengthens RSCA Women

Jorijn Covent

RSCA Women welcome a new face between the posts. Jorijn Covent (21) will swap blue and black for purple and white from next season onwards. She has signed a contract with Sporting until 2029.

Since 2022, Jorijn has been the goalkeeper for Club YLA, establishing herself as the club’s reliable number one. Having played in the Lotto Super League for several seasons, she has repeatedly shown her ability to earn valuable points for her team. She is particularly known for her shot-stopping ability.

Dave MattheusDirector of RSCA Women, is pleased with the arrival: “Following the departures of Aude Waldbillig and Marie Pues, we were looking for a new goalkeeper. Despite her young age, Jorijn already has significant experience at the highest level and has also won trophies. She will compete with Alyssa Van de Poel and Louise Vervoort for a place in the team. In addition, Jorijn’s professional attitude will play an important role in the development of our two young goalkeepers.”

Welcome to the Mauves, Jorijn.
