Ilias Koutsoupias (25) has joined the Purple & White to bolster the midfield. The Greek midfielder completes a permanent move from Frosinone Calcio to RSC Anderlecht and has signed a two-year contract, with an option for an additional season.
Born in Heraklion on the island of Crete, Ilias moved to Italy at a young age. He contin-ued his development in the academies of Virtus Entella and Bologna before making his professional breakthrough with Virtus Entella.
The central midfielder went on to gain plenty of experience in Italian football, represent-ing Ternana, Benevento, Bari and Catanzaro before joining Frosinone in 2025.
Last season, Koutsoupias established himself as a key figure in Frosinone’s midfield. He made 34 league appearances, scoring eight goals and providing four assists.
Ilias is now ready to begin a new chapter at RSC Anderlecht.
