3rd win in a row for Sporting

Third win in a row for RSC Anderlecht as they sent SV Zulte Waregem back home after 90 long minutes. An early own goal (Ewoud Pletinckx) was the beginning of Sporting’s seven-goal fest against Essevee.

Once again all eyes were on Michel Vlap who topped his Waasland-Beveren performance by scoring a hattrick today. Jeremy Doku made it a night to remember too, he scored his first brace for Sporting.

RSCA are now 1 point behind KV Mechelen and KRC Genk (both 44 points) with one game to go before the Play-Offs. Only one place is left in PO1. One of these three teams will take the final spot next Sunday. Sporting will be facing STVV (away), KRC Genk will be hosting KV Mechelen.
